Solidarity in the vineyard

“Solidarity in the vineyard” was the charity initiative promoted last year by Cantine PROVIMA in favor of “Médecins Sans Frontières” to face the health emergency caused by Covid-19 and has allowed to give 4000.00 euros. Wine, sport and solidarity has represented a perfect mix for the excellent result achieved by this project. Many people participated to offer concrete support to all the staff of “Médecins Sans Frontières”. Who bought them out of curiosity, who to make gifts or simply to do a generous thing. Among them we would remember Federico and Marta who chose to buy solidarity wines as wedding favors.

“Solidarity in the vineyard” was officially launched last July the16th, in the organic vineyard of San Biagio farm, in the presence of the authorities, of the representatives of ” Médecins Sans Frontières ” and of the testimonial the ex volleyball player, world champion in Rio de Janeiro 1990 and Athens 1994, Paolo Tofoli. For the success of the initiative, the contributions of the follow athletes were decisive: Laura Strati, Elisa Togut, Achille Polonara and Javier “Javi” Martinez. They gave their availability in support of the initiative by recording short video clips.

From the proceeds of the sales of the four solidarity wines, lasted 3 months and ended on October the 16th, 4000.00 euros were raised.
